Terry backed to Manchester!
Chelsea are the focus of transfer betting activity today and Sky Bet (click here) report a number of market moves for players to join and leave the Stamford Bridge club this summer.Despite the club claiming that John Terry is going nowhere, money continues to come in for the Blues skipper to sign for Manchester City and Sky Bet have cut his odds of moving to Eastlands to 15/8 (from 100/30). "Earlier this week, we took a number of substantial wagers on Terry to stay at Chelsea, prompting us to cut his odds to 1/5 but today the tide has turned and we’ve seen a steady stream of bets on him to be lining up at Eastlands next season." - told Skybet to Ecobika Sports Betting. "Today we slashed Chelsea’s odds of recruiting Franck Ribéry. Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck insists the club are confident of making a 'marquee' signing this summer and with a move to Real Madrid now looking unlikely for Ribéry, now Ribéry 2/1 (from 12/1) to be lining up at Stamford Bridge next season." However, the France winger is 4/5 (from 11/10) to remain at Bayern Münich. Sky Bet have cut the odds of neither Deco nor Ricardo Carvalho signing for Inter Milan to 15/8 (from 3/1) after the club said that the asking price for the Portuguese duo is too high. Chelsea are 8/11 with Sky Bet to win a major trophy in 2009/10 and 5/6 to amass 84 points or more in the league.
